January 2022 release 1 (22.01.01)
Though I didn't have much time over the Christmas break to code, I have made some pretty nice changes to our game for our first January release. Details below!
Bug fixes
- Female character green skin bug fixed
- Boar AI fixed
- Fixed Enviro / ambient audio sources assigned to incorrect mixer channel
New features / enhancements
- More performance fixes across the board
- New "Desert Biome" introduced
- New animal - foxes!
- Improvements to navigation, meaning animal and creature AIs move more realistically through the environment
- Shortened the distance to the treasure, so players can experience the whole game while we're in alpha / beta
- Added debugger - ctrl + d will enable, currently displaying average FPS
- Tweaked the "Snow Biome" to reduce the density of foliage and rock
- Added "snow crunch" footsteps
- Cheat console added - use will invalidate high scores, preventing submission
Internal
- Updated to Unity 2021.2.6f
- Updated Gaia and GeNa to the latest versions
- Refactored debugger / console
