In the Last Devlog Quests and Turn Based Battle - Design Idea - Warrior Tycoon by Stusse Games (itch.io) we talked about the implementation of a 2D map where you move around with your warrior to find targets and engage in turn-based combat.
To give Warrior Tycoon more variety and a goal, we thought of different scenarios. The best scenario we came up with was a turn-based battle, since the game has a basic gameplay, but no objectives or an ending.
Combat is straightforward, you can use your warrior skills, attacks and items to fight your enemies with 3 of your warriors. The battles will contain 1-3 enemies to defeat.

With the quest and turn-based battle system, we will introduce a second loose condition. The victory condition will be to finish the campaign. After that, the game will run in a sandbox mode, so there will be no direct ending. But certain loose conditions can end the game.
