Pre Alpha Build 10:
You can now modify terrain with the pickaxe by left-clicking the ground. This will lower the y-level of the region you clicked on permanently. The game now uses better Post-Processing effects like bloom (to test this effect out, you get a flashlight at level5).
There are some known issues like modifying the terrain at a chunk border creates a gap in the mesh (which is fixed when the chunks get reloaded) but i am trying to fix them at the moment.
