Version 1.04 Release Notes - Big Initiative Changes

- Classes
- Fixed typo in thief skill description
- Made thief class explicitly optional
- Made "shields shall be splintered" a general rule, not a fighter class ability
- Made "cleave" fighter ability work with all weapons, not just great weapons
- Weapons
- Added "Notes" section to weapons and armor tables and moved special rules there
- Renamed "reach weapons" to spears
- Gave spears first strike instead of "second rank" ability to fit with new initiative rules
- Changed arrow depletion to be a per-fight 1-in-6 check (still have ammo left on a 2+)
- Hand weapons and torches can be thrown
- Removed die-based ammo depletion to just count shots, with a 5-in-6 chance (2+) to recover an arrow after firing.

- Fixed typo in shovel and pickaxe dig rates
- Added spearman hireling
- Gave horse archers move and missile fire ability
- Reworked initiative and surprise to be more like OD&D and Chainmail and use phases.
