A bit longer than the two week gap I wanted, but I'm back with an update for you!
So, here's what's new:
- Tuning up some of the dialogue for the intro, Grey still talks a lot but some more tuning to make things flow better.
- Also direct info to the player so they know gender does affect gameplay
- New Starting Town - Delphi
- Because I made Thebes so big I heard a lot of complaints about it being a bit easy to get lost. I've made Delphi, home of the Oracle the new starting area, with the caveat that you can't leave without speaking to the Oracle.
- New Cutscene and Tutorial
- Showing Grey in fighting form. Along with an easy battle to introduce the gameplay.
- Area flags
- If you're missing something you'll not be able to get to the credits or into the city with Barbarus.
- FOOL status
- Before I had "FOOL" as a bit of a hidden mechanic but with Thebes already being greedy, I figured it would be better to have it signal to you that something is up after you drink some of the wine.
- Going into the SEWER prompts a warning
- FOOL has pretty severe penalties in battle
- King scene
- King of Thebes cutscene now includes signal to go back to the King.
- Hidden Treasure of Dionysus
- He's friendly if you talk to him enough.
New Update hopefully in December. The 4th? Let's Go for it!
