Hello,
I've been getting recommendations to make running instantaneous instead of the warm-up. I've implemented this change in the Windows version and it should be visible on the Mac/Linux/WebGL versions in the next few days.
I'm sorry that that was in the final build, playtesting is a very important part of the development cycle and none of my testers seemed to have a problem with it. This animation wind up was not fully intended and looking back at gameplay players had to work around it in unrealistic situations which was not my intent.
Thanks to everyone who has played it so far, hopefully, this change makes the gameplay experience much smoother.
