A new computer later and I am now back up and running. This is a pretty sizable QoL update for this game that majorly overhauls a few of the biggest pain points:
The Greenhouse
- Replaced final challenge of the level with a new one after player feedback said original puzzle was inconsistent
- Reconstructed several challenges to allow for more movement
- Retextured lower half of level to differentiate from different sections of level
- Several bug fixes related to collision on lower levels
Extraterrestrial Defense
- Changed the behavior of the cannons to be much friendly to the player
- Altered the placement of several projectiles and speeds to make challenges more consistent
- Rebuilt final area of level to give the player more space to move
General
- Can now access final two levels from the main menu, no longer need to complete remainder of game to play
- Progress in these levels will carry over into the main game if the player continues, and the dialogue will try it's best to account for it
- Gravity change checks should no longer "stack"
- Made a number of checkpoints automatically mark when crossing their plane
- Streamlined tutorial level to be quicker and more effective
