This update is something I've thought about doing for a while. The Sound Manager Plugin had a problem that was reported through GitLab that could really affect smaller monitors. With this new version, the situation is not entirely solved, maybe, but certainly improved.
Honestly, it's been more and more difficult to think about new updates for this plugin. There's a reason I haven't released any new version for a while, apart from small bug fixes. I think that the Sound Manager as of now has reached the point I wanted it to reach. From here, I can only maintain it and fix bugs and things, at least for now. That is to say: don't expect big updates for a while. Of course, maybe using it myself for my own projects I will find useful things to do and add, who knows.
To be perfectly honest, I'm really curious about Godot 4 and what it will bring to the table. I have to admit I haven't tried it yet, but I'm following the development and maybe there are some things that I could do to push this plugin a little bit further... But until then, the Sound Manager is probably going to be stuck to 3.4 for a while.
