As we continue to work on our first small game we have found many interesting things in the software engineering process. One of those interesting thing is that even though the game is quite small it still has many parts to it. A lot more scripts were required then originally thought, as well as textures, models, and prefabs. Another thing that we found interesting was the use of class inheritance in order to greatly reduce the size of scripts in the game. For a small game like this the practice may not be as necessary, but this will be very useful for larger projects, and a good habit for us to build early on.
This game will be fully playable on the date of the Florida Polytechnic University's Game Expo, December 4th. There will be voting online during the event, we wish to see your support.
