Hello everyone and welcome to a new sneak peek of Lucky Paradox
This will be a double post, since there was no progress report last week, but first...
Why wasn't there a progress report?
Last week I was focusing all my efforts and time on finishing version 0.7. Not only I had to test the content added in the last Alpha, but all the content added during this update cycle (which is more than 5 hours of gameplay), believe it or not, this can take much more time than you think (and you have to be patient). To this I had to add the problems I suffered with my internet provider, since I was some days without internet and therefore, I couldn't upload the update and it was a very frustrating moment.
I didn't have the time to write a post and I wasn't in the right mood, since I had a lot of accumulated fatigue.
But at last version 0.7 has been finished and released on Saturday, so the public release will be available on November 26th, with all the bugs that are being reported fixed.
During these two weeks, a lot of progress has also been made.
More than 300 new renders have been added, which were necessary to finish all the remaining content. The threesome scene between Maxy and Charlotte was added, which must be the scene with the most images so far. This event will appear automatically if you have achieved enough progress with Charlotte and Maxy.
Also, 19 animations were added corresponding to the Halloween update, the added special costumes have two extra animations during the repeatable scenes, in addition to all the visual changes that have been shown (Except for a secret costume that I haven't said anything about yet during the public posts).
For Halloween, a night/day transition has been added with some variations and a special sound effect, to announce the arrival of Halloween in Argleton.
A visual change was added to the calendar, to give context to the special events of the month, along with some "hints" in the box on the right, which serve as a guide to unlock the new special content.
This system should already be working smoothly, so adding other special months such as Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day or even Argleton's Anniversary month will be possible. I think it will be a great feature to add a lot of life to the game.
Some sound effects were also added, nothing too significant, right now I want to evaluate the possibility of adding sound effects in the scenes, although it will take a considerable amount of time to get everything ready, I think it is something necessary.
Finally, I am working on some concepts and ideas for the next update. There are too many great ideas to add, but I must filter out the most important ones, as there are still many areas of the game to explore.
The rest of the time has been more "boring" tasks like testing and programming times, which I don't think anyone wants to know in detail beyond what was finally included in the final version, hahaha
And that has been the report of this week (and the previous one), I'm sorry for not saying anything and remain silent, but I was exhausted x.x
I send you a hug from afar and I wish you a beautiful week <3
See you soon with more news!
