MAJOR QoL Update!

SO d757gaming recently played this game on Twitch and also uploaded the video to Youtube. First of all, A HUGE THANK YOU to you sir! You showed so much heart and compassion for gaming and for me as a person in your critique, and it genuinely moved me to tears even in the face of SGHarlekin's very blunt criticism (which I admit I took very badly at first). A huge thank you as well to SGHarlekin and the thought he put into engaging my work.
That being said, in lieu of this video, there has been a HUGE QoL overhaul to the game:
- There are now tutorial popups that explain ability learning, spell learning, how Lives work, as well as Desperation Battles.
- Enemies now have at least 1 extra attack, sometimes two, and use them frequently to keep the player on their toes.
- The first boss and its superboss counterpart, Mauler Mole, have special animations and abilities for their extra skills.
- Weakness popups will now occur when targeting an enemy's weak element. "Excellent Move!" popups will also occur when critical hits happen, as an homage to Dragon Quest 1-4.
Now for some QoL updates that weren't requested:
- The amount of SP required to learn the first abilities has been severely lowered, making them much more accessible early game.
- Lightning, Freeze, and Windscythe are all now accessible early game, but have been nerfed to have a similar power as Torch in order to make them viable for combat.
- The amount of attacks required to learn Binding Rope and Scavenge have been drastically lowered.
MAJOR NOTE: Because of the amount of updates done, currently ONLY Venari Forest is playable.
