This time we wanted to make a quick mention of the characters we are adding into the game.
As you know, apart from our lovely main characters, we also have some support cast in order to move the story. For us it was a bit of a difficult decision about how many characters we would need for the story to go forward. And this is something we are still discussing until today!
You see, as we write the plot of the story, we suddenly realize we need a character for a specific location. Our writer is making his best to avoid adding unnecessary characters but, at the same time it's not like we can re-use characters from other locations.
We sure hope we don't end up with too many support characters, just for the sake of variety (and the sake of our artist!).
Expect to see some cool new characters with the upcoming update though! We have added a couple more and we hope you guys like them as much as we did. Our artist is making a lot of effort by leaving his comfort zone and drawing more species for our exotic island after all!
As for the update itself, we've been discussing and we might have to delay the patch a bit sadly. Real life has kept us busy and we do have to deal with adult life like everyone else, so sometimes our meetings have to fall through and we end up delaying things a bit.
We are still unsure if we end up indeed delaying this, but we thought it was better to let you guys know that might be the case, just to make sure this doesn't come up as a surprise in case we have to.
We will do our best to pick up the pace and thank you for playing our game and leaving comments about it!
