The original build (1.1) was a project I was trying to get the hang of Unity. All of the artwork is self made using Autodesk Sketchbook on an Android tablet. The sound effects were taken from various free websites, and the music was again self made using Korg Kaoscillator. The original controls were all keyboard.
Build 1.2 contained a few patches. A couple of my students noticed that they could sit on the left side and mostly avoid the obstacles so I fixed that by shifting the left border a bit. The method of using the mouse to start and restart the game felt a little clunky, and I noticed that some of my younger students had trouble handling a mouse, so I altered the inputs to use the mouse buttons to control the robot. I also added the Splash Screen (such as it is), using LingoJam(https://lingojam.com/RobotVoiceGenerator) to create the robotized vocal effect. I also added the version number onto the title screen.
Build 1.2.1 contains a fix to ensure the borders keep the player within the game screen and spreads the location of the spawn points for obstacles more evenly across the top of the game world. The version number has also been updated.
