Post-jam Update #1
This game jam was quite interesting to me. I decided to go with a pseudo 3D minigolf game but entirely made in 2D (yikes, that was way more difficult than I would have guessed!). I will not be rebuilding this one (yet) but I made some quality-of-life improvements in the last couple of days. I don't think I will do another update except if the game is chosen to be presented on Ludwig's channel. We'll see!
Updates
- Added mouse controls. The angle of the ball will follow the mouse. Left-click to charge and left-click again to shoot. Right-click to rewind.
- Added music/sfx volume settings. On the main menu, click "Settings" and use the slider to change de volume.
- A couple of fixes on the arrow that shows the direction of the shot:
- Sprite is bigger and longer
- It disappears while the ball is moving
- It follows the ball if the ball moves due to something in the level pushing the ball (i.e. the wheelhouse can push the ball when you try to aim)
- Parallax clouds added to the sky. Something I scratched from the final build because it was not working properly and I need to redraw the clouds.
