0.31 Progress Report #2
I've spent a good deal of time bouncing back and forth between early game events, as well as adding new content. I've managed to replace about 60% of the early game content (before you are allowed to set out on your own and do as you please). I also removed a few bits that I felt weren't 100% relevant. I may even remove a bit more to streamline things and help get new players to the meat of the game sooner.
I also added a couple of scenes with Ziphyr (finally), and deciphering the previous master's journal that has been left behind. I'm nowhere near done yet but I feel I'm going at a pretty good pace. The full list of changes since last time are listed below.
- - Lowered the requirements for Grimm's return at the start of the game.
- - Fixed an issue where satiety didn't reset when you sleep.
- - Added a new event for Ziphyr where you can learn a new magic spell.
- - Main story additions (Reading the Journal) 2x Events.
- - Journal events give permanent stat gains and alchemy knowledge.
- - Journal events now also give the player the ability to unlock new features (like crafting items with magicite).
- - MS Journal Events +2 added, 4 total.
- - Fixed an error where some old inventory code may have caused a glitch in some older Pichi events.
- - Redid more of the early scenes in game (up until entering the Tower for the first time).
- - Added a new MS event, featuring the minion character that can be scene in a few cutscenes.
- - Replaced more of the early events, removing some of the character stills with scenes (up to entering the tower).
