Neeio: Mini Game Hell I - High Score (Devlog #2 - What Even Is It?)

Hello again!

So, a bit more about whatever this is!

Neeio: Mini Game Hell I - High Score is at least a couple of things. It will be the first game I release that is not a "game jam -game". It is similar to a one though, since it is quite short and simple.

But why is it short and simple? Well, because the reason already mentioned, "my first game". I've tried developing several games at this point. First one was way too boring for me to work on. Then I tried working a more ambitious project with a small team, but that failed as well because it's hard to keep people working on a project when there's no monetary compensation. Then I started working on another solo project, but that was way too ambitious for my skill level back then.

So I kept thinking what I could do that was interesting but not too hard, and that's when I ended up starting this project. A project that is also a part of mini-series. This is great, because now I get to tell a story and set up this character's further appearances down the line, all while learning to code different mechanics for a game. Win-win situation!

Shortly put, this game will be a glorified mini game compilation with story elements. I'm gonna tell more about it in the near future, so, stay tuned!
