#Ledger Cell #Logo #Design
After I posted the game on Itch, I realized how jealous I was of people's cover art/game logos. I thought that even though I don't have full art/design for Ledger Cell, I could at least replace the filler image and get a little artistic practice in.
Now, if anyone feels like guessing what everything is made of, now is the time! I'll list my tools and post some other pictures.
Components:
The Floor: If you guessed toilet bowl tank lid, you're correct! the porcelain added a nice shine/reflection of the Gurney, and was easy to clean.
The Wall: That's a stainless steel garbage can from the same bathroom.I liked that the black plastic seam at the bottom almost made it look like a baseboard.
Gurney: A miniature!
The Lump: Clear silicone from caulking (I'm renovating my bathroom). I love that it has some dog hair stuck to it, for extra effect. I picked at it for texture, and soaked it with lots of:
Blood: There is a brand of fake theatrical blood called 'I can't believe it's not blood'. Picked it based on the name.
Tools:
Lighting, I have a ring light, but I also bought two dimmable jewelry case lights. I don't have any technical photography/lighting knowledge, so I just tinkered.
I used a watercolor tray to hold the blood and some alcohol for cleaning. For the writing part, I used a children's watercolor brush and I stole a silicone brush hair thing from our kitchen sauce brush. Q-tips and paper towels for cleaning/ wiping spots off.
I should have put plastic down, I know.
