Update #5
Cases
- Overhauled the way cases are tracked in the backend to allow for things like recoveries, hospitalisations, and deaths. (currently only recoveries have been implemented)
- There is now a 1/150 chance every day of a new hotel quarantine leak occuring. This allows for runs to continue beyond elimination as new outbreaks can occur as you guide the city towards 95% fully vaccinated.
Tests
- Testing range widened a bit to allow for more randomness in case numbers (this was particularly a problem at low case numbers as you'd get a tail of pretty much the same case numbers every day when you approached elimination, this can still occur but less likely. A more robust overhaul to the testing system will come in future)
- There is now a daily number of tests reported which allows you to see how testing rates are trending
- Slightly increased the testing floor during the period when no cases have been detected
Restrictions
- You will now get points back when removing restrictions (does not apply if restrictions were enacted by the bulk Greater Sydney policies), points are +4 for removing lockdown, +3 for removing limited movement, and +2 for removing mandatory masks.
Known Bugs (to be fixed in future update)
- Active cases can sometimes be -1
