Hiya! Build 0.09 is here a day early. Enjoy!
This is an update for the Reject path, specifically Daren's and Marshall's routes. It is 10k words long, has one new music track, a couple new expressions for Daren and Marshall, and has an Extras menu that unlocks when you reach the end of the build. The menu is still a work in progress, and some of the buttons are placeholders for the time being. For the moment, the Extras menu contains brief character bio pages as well as the short stories I posted several months ago. I figured since that post will get buried as time goes on, I'd put them in the VN itself where they're more accessible.
I'd like to thank Coza for her art, as always. I'd also like to thank Sky and Melo for their proofreading. It's a lot less intimidating submitting a new build when I get to hear people's thoughts ahead of time, as well as get typos and such fixed. Hopefully this update doesn't have any for a change! I swear, there's always one or two that sneak by.
This was a fun update to work on. The only thing I'm struggling with now is that I want to work on every route, but I know it's better to focus on one or two per update if I want to make progress. Just because I haven't started on certain routes yet doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to writing them.
As far as next update goes, the one for December, that one will focus on the Accept path again. The updated Jeffrey sprites should hopefully be done by then as well. Coza has finished drawing most of the expressions, but had a medical emergency this past weekend and I do not want to pressure her to rush out art while she's still recovering.
