This week, the combat system got a do-over. The old method of handling combat did not work well for sharing features between fights (like usable items, skills, and enemy AI improvements), so the whole thing needed to be re-written. Old fights (the drainfly and the printer) are unaffected by these updates, but all fights added in the future will share the updated features. An event system also got added, which will form the foundation for later systems like pregnancy, time-based buff/debuffs, and other player conditions. Although, it is currently only used to trigger fights and regen your flux. I didn't get around to making the female slime enemy, but she will get her turn in the spotlight next week.
