New Cave generation preview

The new caves will generate in different shapes and sizes, some are narrower or smaller and other ones are massive structures that can even cut through the terrain itself! check them out in this update, keep in mind that this is still work in progress and things will change / get improved for the 0.9 update.

New Inventory and crafting UI

There is now a list of all crafting recipes and all of the blocks in the game, and you can directly add them to your inventory by clicking on them (Creative mode only). You can  scroll through the list using the scrollbar, mouse scroll wheel or up/down keys . Few other finishing touches such as transition animations are also added to the inventory UI.

Other new stuff

A lot of new improvements and additions are also added in this beta, for example now when breaking blocks, they'll leave 3d broken off pieces of themselves on the ground!

Beta 2 Changelog:

• Crafting recipe list / Blocks and Items list can now be seen and accessed in the inventory menu
• Added 3d block break effects and remains
• Added transition animations when opening the inventory menu
• Added a small indicator for the position of the item you've currently selected in your inventory
• Added idle animation (while not moving) for the player
• Added screen shake and impact sound when falling from a high place
• Updated the default leaves generation and increased the trees average height, even more so in the lavenders biome
• Pressing "Tab" will now take a screenshot and store it in the "screenshots" folder in the games installed directory
• Fixed a bug where the player would automatically move in a certain direction after closing inventory / pause menu
• Fixed the problem with mobs not spawning / despawning correctly if ".mob" or ".player" save file is not present
• Fixed a mistake in the code that would make the shore sand generate incorrectly along the edge of the level
• Simplified the selected block identifier box
