Pirate Radio - Update
I have finished with the core game and am really happy with how it plays. I have four days left in the Jam so I will be playing and tweeking the game until near the deadline.
Things that have been added:
- An optional dungeon.
- Custom art for the enemies.
- Fixed the bugs.
- An additional soft ending (player's might not notice the difference).
Path forward:
- I have the maps and am working on the artwork for an additional dungeon with four bosses, all optional which will lead to a secret ending.
- I still want to try my hand at some lighting effects and parallax mapping but under the time constraint, every time I think about it my anxiety goes through the roof so if this ever happens it will certainly be after the game is out.
- I really want to take every map in the game and redraw them by hand but that's definitely out of the question for the time I have left.
