Alpha 4.3.1
Castle constructor 4.3.1 has some patches for bugs with the previous version as well as brings a few improvements.
Full changelog is below.
Changes:
- Improved the look of the campaign map. Improved the look of the paths linking the levels. Levels now only show when unlocked. Levels that have not been played show as a flag until you have received a star for the level after which it will show the tower.
- Improved the deckbuilding screen. Adjusted the layout and improved the overall look and clarity of the screen.
- Moved the reset button for the tech tree to a spot where it is less likely to be reflexively clicked.
- Caltrops and Chevals are now bronze tokens instead of silver. Caltrop and Cheval tokens now give 2 cards instead of 3.
- Adjusted the game difficulty back up a little. Previous version made the game too easy.
- Adjusted the volume controls to work correctly.
- Added some ocean ambience to the main menu.
- Added some UI sounds to the options menu and in the main menu.
- Improved the look of tokens.
Bugs:
- Fixed saves getting messed up.
- Fixed Siege Tower sometimes using the lower ramp when the top block is a Battlement.
- Fixed paths passing through the rocks on the Desert Dunes level.
- Fixed some techs having descriptions overflowing the panel.
- Fixed enemies sometimes not walking but instead sliding over the ground.
- Fixed Isthmus level not having a level preview image.
- Fixed an issue with Siege Towers causing issues with climbing after they were destroyed.
- Fixed a pathfinding issue on the floodplains level.
- Fixed some rocks on the Mountain Pass level were unintentionally disappearing when placing a block next to them.
