Update to v0.1
Today we upload the new version of Dan-bi's demo. The changes we made match our intentions for the future of this project.
- Camera:
- The camera's angle has changed to an isometric view. Our inspiration was after all the Legend of Zelda: Link's awakening remake. Not only we wanted to maintain the feeling of an isometric exploration game, but we also wanted the player to be able to see where he lands, to be able to precisely jump around without losing the feel of being in control of Yeon
- We implemented a steady camera rotation. We noticed that our previous camera change was feeling too sudden and too harsh, so after receiving feedback that confirmed it we changed it by implementing a steady rotation.
- Sprint: we noticed that if we held down the sprint button but didn't move, the stamina of the player would be lowering anyways, we fixed it.
- Abilities:
- Clouds had a bug that if you had a cloud in cooldown and fell into water it would stop the cooldown until you consumed all of your clouds
Future updates:
We are now going to work on Dan-bi to release a full version of the game and publish it on steam as well. So the next update may be a little far in time from now. One of the things we are working on is the abilities feedback.
