This week went a lot better. Not perfect, but considering the previous one, I'll take what I can get. Anyway, let's serve you up some lore and then move to the update proper:

Now then, what got done this week. A lot of different things but also nothing in particular. That is to say, I ended up progressing multiple issues without focusing on any of them.
On the writing front, I wrote new lore and new smut. If you want to preview those things, I'd suggest joining the Discord; I post new texts there whenever I finish writing them.
On the coding side, I cleaned up some modules, preparing them for a transition to the new version, and finished up the hello module. That last part was particularly fruitful. Not only did I break down a lot of text that was waiting to appear in-game, but I also developed some essential techniques for designing modular phrases. Techniques that I wouldn't be capable of implementing in the older versions of the engine, like those under which I first started trying to work on these generic phrases.
Unfortunately, none of the above really makes for a good presentation.
Next week I'll try to focus on nonverbal gestures, in particular idling. That would make it easier to once more work on the visit to Cornelius' apartment.
