In this entry, I delve deeper into the combat. I introduce the AV (audiovisual) Augment that allows the player to see and hear an enemy's resonant frequency or weakness. The player can now tune the Resonant Blade by using the 'Q' and 'E' buttons to cycle through 6 different frequencies. This changes the color and sound the blade produces. I also experiment with using multiple frequencies in a combo system to make chords which generate special ranged attacks. I worked on a defense mechanic for the player called the Harmonic Shield. After testing out the chord combos and shield, I realized that it was too clunky and slow for a faster-paced action game. I'm working on another solution though that will make the combat more fun and interactive!
