This last week did not go well. I really don't know what to say. I just repeatedly failed at producing anything of acceptable quality.
I'm also exhausted to the point I can't even post any lore, since the work that goes into it is more than I feel capable of right now. Hell, writing is in its own right difficult as is.
So, in short, last week, I developed two subsystems that integrate with the v2 mechanics. One of them has to do with queueing things to happen in the future, but not in the sense of the stack resolution but tangible in-game time (may X happen in Y minutes). The second is an estimator for speech duration that allows the time passage on dialogue nodes to be autodetected and automatically applied to the passage of time.
Neither of them is anything cool or glamorous, but I needed them.
I'm sorry, this is about as much as I have in me right now.
