Version 2.6.0 released!

Twisted IK 2
A downloadable Godot plugin

Hey everyone!

It has been awhile since the last update! This is mostly because I am super busy with work and other person projects, but I have not forgotten this plugin and am happy to announce version 2.6.0 of Twisted IK 2 has just been released! This release is mostly focused on bug fixes and stability.

Here's the changes and fixes in this version:

  • Added the ability for Twisted_Bone3D and Twisted_Skeleton3D to be used without a Skeleton node. Just setup the Twisted_Skeleton3D and Twisted_Bone3D nodes to make a skeleton, and then you can use IK without needing a rigged mesh. The development project is updated to show this in 3D_Test_Scene_17
  • Fixed issue with LookAt causing infinite scales with animated meshes or prior TwistedBone3D nodes are scaled. Huge thanks to iwilliams for the report!)
  • Applied LookAt infinite scale fix to CurveIK3D, DuoIK3D, FABRIKIK3D, Jiggle3D, SliderJoint3D, and Velvet3D
  • Applied fix to LookAt3D, CurveIK3D, FABRIK3D, Jiggle3D, and SliderJoint3D so bones with -Z forward axis (like from Mixamo-auto-rig) work correctly. This shouldn't change anything for non -Z forward bones.
