#New Release
Today I've released Firefly, my 9th Amiga game from 1993. This is a very simple shoot-em-up, with an optional choice of race game. The graphics are somewhat flickery on every configuration, but in gameplay and graphical terms is was an improvement over Liberator and Turbo Thrust. This was my first shoot-em-up to feature a few different weapons too.
It was based on one of only two machine-code games I wrote for Commodore 64, a game called Draxian, which is lost forever and was never released. This isn't related to my 2003 PC game called Firefly, which was a Pac-Man style maze game.
I've supplied the game in the original ADF file, and a more complex RP9 file for second generator emulators.
Enjoy playing.
