For the passed month and a half I have been developing a game that builds upon a simple physics concept (specifically projectile kinematics that is typically taught at senior high school/ freshman college level & coefficient of restitution ("bounciness") that is typically taught at a more advance level)
What I think is unique about this so far:
- vectors that display velocity direction for all moving objects
- crates that changes the "bounciness" of the head as you throw it
- and I guess, teleporting your body to your head
This is first time for many things for me as a developer:
- first time animating & pixel drawing.
- first platformer that I've made
- first time using Unity's Raycast system.
- first time making my own sound track (soon to be implemented)
Most challenging part:
- getting the animation & jump to work with the player
- coming up with a game design that compliments this topic
There is still a few more thing to take care of before I create a devlog and then either continue/move on from this project.
I hope you are able to enjoy this demo! Any comments and feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Henyers :)
