Terrain Generator V0.2
Changes for version 0.2
- The texture is no longer rotated for the exported object
- Moved the origin of the exported object to the center
- Added an option to turn on ambient occlusion for any material that has an AO texture
- Added a settings panel to control camera movement/rotation speed
- Added missing tool tips
- Improved the help text
- Changed the way the cursor is drawn so it correctly follows the terrain rather than clipping through it
- Added a confirmation window when exitting
- Added labels to the procedural generation controls
- Pressing the flat and heightmap buttons will now close the procedural generation window
- Rewrote the procedural generation which will make it easier to expand in future versions
- Added an edge clamp option to the proc gen system which ensures the clamps the edge of the terrain to the midpoint
- Implemented the seed control which is used to generate random offsets for accessing the perlin noise texture
- Removed the erosion control until it's implemented properly
Known issues
The mouse cursor is sometimes corrupted when exporting a terrain
