v1.0_2: Huge optimizations!
Yay, another update that no one will care about! :D
- Huge optimizations
- A new lighting engine that has been matched to be as close as possible to the old one. Also way faster.
- Most of the blocks* have been "deleted from the game". This improves loading times and RAM usage.
- Item boxes have been fixed: depending on your level, you can go from 0.04 to 60 FPS.
- Platforms no longer lag your game out.
- Other general boosts to performance.
- The icon has been changed to the finish block. Also applied to the Windows build's icon, which was previously the default Godot one.
- You can now spectate a level that you uploaded or have beaten before!
- A link to our new Guilded has been added! The Discord in-game link still remains so you can get your Supporter, but otherwise that server has been killed off.
- Various tweaks and fixes to improve the mobile experience. The Android version is now available to beta test on our Guilded!
- Popups (settings, color picker, etc) are now scaled up if your game is tiny.
- Grab movement has been enabled for spectating.
- Player click hitboxes have been expanded for spectating. No longer have to precisely click on the human.
- Text transparency now loads correctly! That was an oopsie on my part during a slight refactorization.
- Fixed the player super jumping on every frame, causing you to lose control over the height of coyote jumps.
- Minor UI improvements.
- Beating a level for the first time multiplies your XP by 1.5
* Platforms and a reduced version of void blocks (they are just squares now) still exist.
