Devlog-Thing: What's the plan?

Protect Port Poly, pls
A browser game made in HTML5

So, first things first: haven't written any announcements or devlogs so far, so let's see where this takes us!

What's the reason now?

Well, i want to continue working on Protect Port Poly, pls in order to make it a proper little game. The game that i tried to make during the game jam, the game that you basically get from the game jam version.... in the first 30 seconds.

Ring speed rotation manipulation based tower defence.

This requires a two step process: First, there is some cleanup to do: As gamejam games go, this is not the worst thing i've made... but it isn't exactly the best, either. Game logic wrapped in UI logic wrapped in game logic with a dynamic GUI that works 75%, but falls appart on smaller resolutions and has poor readability of actual information. and no hotkeys.

Once these more technical/execution things are out of the way, the actual issue is going to get adressed:

Introducing more variety in turrets and astroids while at the same time slowing progression with clever spawns and balancing for cost-reward-stuff as intended during the jam should help bring this little ... demo up to a "game of a few minutes where you play a few runs" status.

And for this purpose i tested another new thing: i made a GitHub Project alongside the source code repo to have a roadmap!
