#update
Thank you all for the kind and generous support you've shown this project these past few months! It's incredibly heartening for it to have started so strong, and I can't wait to see where it takes us. This update doesn't contain anything majorly ground-breaking, but it paves the way for a lot of my plans in the future, and still contains a good few new scenes to whet your whistle while you wait for next month's update, which is centered all around a new unlockable area: Julian's hypnotic carnival!
If you'd like to access builds a month early, and hear my commentary on the game's progress in Perfect Home's discord, please consider donating to my Patreon!
Patch Notes:
• The house can now be explored! You can talk to Felicity in your bedroom to quickly navigate the world, or otherwise leave through the front door.
• You now pursue hunts from the front door rather than the wardrobe.
• The wardrobe is now where you may access costumes, of which there are currently only three: normal!Citrine, nude!Citrine, and maid!Citrine, the latter of which you get after gaining 5 Submission. In future updates, costumes will change fluff in scenes and add some new encounters entirely, but for now they're purely cosmetic!
• Established a basic framework for house upgrades. When you examine a boarded-up door, you'll have the option to unlock it if you gather the right resources, though currently the only one that can be upgraded is on the right
• The Classroom can be built with 75 gold, 1 Timber, and 1 Servant. Obedience can be raised by 2 instead of 1 from this room, with three short scenes about hypnotically teaching your servants discipline!
• When you gather 6 servants and a Witch Bottle, you can drain them for their stats in the Servant's Quarters, increasing one stat by 1!
• You can have light conversation with Felicity, which changes slightly depending on the state of the house.
• Dialogue can now quickly be skipped through using the shift key! You can power through scenes pretty easily if you just hold down shift and mash enter, making it a lot easier to stomach slow/repeat encounters.
• Slightly tweaked/shortened some repeatable scenes so they're not too much of a slog.
• Removed the cosmetic "equipment" items due to confusion and their current lack of applications! I might add them back in a future update, but for now, I don't feel they have much use!
