I just wanted to thank everybody who has purchased the game in Early Access and for those who have provided detailed reports of issues with the game. Many of these I am aware of, but there are many issues I thought had been resolved. Yeah, gamedev! My weekdays are pretty packed at the moment, but I will try to release a slightly more stable build this weekend.
Nothing is worse than getting into the game and getting hit with a progress-halting bug. And I hope everybody has the chance to play through the entire game, which just gets more epic as it goes on.
Also, I am painfully, PAINFULLY aware of the slowdown issues. While the NES hardware and processing power is what it is, I'm doing my best to ameliorate the issues -- and unfortunately, the game was built on inefficient code not of my making (I am not an adapt asm programmer). I'm always investigating options and solutions to make it better.
I will continue to update and improve the game over the next year. So rest assured, a better neMULEsis is always on the way.
