Fixing all the bugs
Bugfixed Version - v0.2.0
This version fixes all the bugs and provides a better control scheme for the game.
Ther are also some minor content and QoL improvements.
New stuff
- Finished the tileset (gl breaking out of the map now :P)
- Added an in-game indicator when near a console
- Added player feedback sounds for the rest of the interactions
- Added a short version of the final puzzle
Controls update
Since a lot of people had problems with the controls, updated the current scheme.
A complete overhaul how the item selection system works will be provided in a future patch.
Mighty spacebar
The spacebar can now do everything
- Opening and closing the inventory
- Selecting inventory items
- Closing the textual ui elements (for the Web-Version, since Esc will quit fullscreen)
Console toggle moved to Tab.
Since there was a lot of confusion what the ‘grave-accent’ character is, i just changed the console to tab.
With that the game can essentially played with just WASD/Space/Tab.
Just the Handook doesn’t support movement via keyboard yet.
Bug Fixes
- Tooltip will now dissapear correctly
- When opening the inventory, the selected item is now correctly highlighted
- When opening the console, the input field is now active
- Console’s status message will now display the correct status
- Fixed the issues withe the artifacts (except WebVersion when not in fullscreen)
