A hidden yet significant bug was brought to my attention, so I have rolled out the latest changes as a small 0.4 update.
Now, when you press Ctrl + F to show the suspension and tire forces, some extra details will be displayed above the virtual gauge cluster, in units determined by the unit setting for the speedometer:
Yes, you can now try your hypermiling skills in GDSim! :P You do not need to leave the details up for the average to be calculated; you can look it up any time.
I have included a new autocross layout I had prepared. Let's call it Scuba Circuit. :) A different method of rendering the concrete barriers improved performance enough to grant including this extra-large layout, which neatly fits the dimensions of the entire lot.
Refinements to the simulation carry on; I've reduced the ABS slip threshold, added an altitude-based effect to engine and aerodynamic calculations (not very meaningful yet), and corrected a small mistake in the differential torque split.
