So this is a huge update! I've added a lot of new stuff, and there is progression in terms of unlocking new things! These notes includes V0.18, V0.19 and V0.20 as I was playtesting and bug fixing throughout, and some versions had game-breaking bugs and were not uploaded to Itch.io.
I hope these features make the game more interesting for you! And if you have any thoughts, suggestions or bugs feel free to comment those things. I'm currently setting up playtesting properly through a discord server that I'll be linking to this page soon, and may even set up forum stuffs, so if you're interested in following the development of this game closely, look out for that! :D Thanks.
New Features of V0.21:
There's now environmental light that makes sense!
Potions are now, in fact, sparkly, and look a bit different too.
18 new potions, categorized as different variations of the original 9.
The original 9 potions have their own ingredients, flowers and petals. Their recipes have changed along with this, and the new potions use these items.
As a perfectionist I thought this feature was good. Pressing "F" while holding and item resets it's rotation.
Can close and open shop, and it will send away the current customer and not spawn more until the shop is open again.
There's now a pop up for when you level up!
Yes, you can now throw objects across the room.
New items/potions now unlock with level up, currently every level but this will be changed when I have planned out progression properly.
Plots now display a timer for how long they have left to grow.
Scythe tool now has a chance to give more petals on harvest. Scales with upgrades.
Watering Can now speeds up growth time of plots. Scales with upgrades.
Changes to Features of V0.21:
All UI windows look cleaner! I'm especially proud of the current shop. There's going to be characters in the loans and blacksmith window eventually though, so changes to the windows aren't fully complete.
Loans are now maxed to 500, and create pop ups reminding you to pay back your loan. Scales with amount. These pop-ups should remove themselves if loan is paid.
Loans also now have text to display actions.
Customers now request different potions to their type (when potions are unlocked of course).
This is mostly for spacing, and it takes a while to do so I haven't done the potions yet.
On the cupboard next to them, they now spawn their contents on the same level.
Some code changes to how the cauldron takes in items. Boring stuff.
With the timer changes, I've also scaled the growth time with new pricing and unlocks.

Due to some recipes requiring multiple of the same component, I thought having a shortcut (for coin) would be better than needing to create extra powders and mixtures.
