v1.08 Release

It's here, it's here!

First off, I want to apologize on the delay. Some IRL stuff was taking up more time but also I fell into this vicious cycle of feeling behind on the game and trying to force creativity, not finding that creativity, and then feeling worse for being behind. I still aim for 2 builds a month but for the sake of the project (and my sanity) I need to be honest with myself and you all that some weeks I just don't have the energy or ideas to put into TDA. I just need to be better at communicating that.

That said, here's what's in this build!

Main Updates

• Steven's Chapter 6 - You'll find him in the Library where you'll also find another character but his route isn't ready yet. Steven's the only other human here and so there's probably no one else that understands what you're going through like he does. Doesn't hurt that he's strong and yummy.
• Steven's Expression Update - Rather than do this later and update the chapter like I'm doing with Spiff and Bryce, I did all the artwork and included the sprite updates with this chapter. Prior chapters shouldn't have any 'naked' bugs but Chapter 6 is the only one with Steven's expression set for now. Let me tell you, the beard was a nuisance to modify for each mouth shape. BUT luckily Steven doesn't have ears that move so that helped a bit.
• New Background Artist - As you hopefully saw with my last post, I've been working with the talented Luca Sundeen to begin creating final background assets for the game. It'll be a long process of funneling Patreon money to him each month to work on backgrounds but ideally each month there will be a new background that actually matches the description and will give everything a uniform feel. Let me know how you like your new bedroom!

Minor Updates

• I fixed the typos from the Book of Regerts mainly from Chapter 3
• Modified Spiff's fight scene game to only require 5 correct key strokes and increased the time to hit the buttons to allow for an easier win scenario
• Updated Spiff's outfits in all chapters (note, expressions are not fully included and there's some writing that needs to be updated to align with the new garments)
• Added side images for Spiff and Steven throughout all chapters
• Fixed some blinking animations for Spiff
• Updated some DICKS! (You don't have access to them yet within the academy but at some point I'll show you the before and afters for Remington, Spiff, and Steven. I like the new meat much more...)
• Fixed a shirtless Rem bug when he first shows you to your room
• Updated Chapter 3 writing to match the new bedroom background asset
