Hello, Yeenlings!
It's been nearly two weeks since the release of the game's second chapter! So far, I've received a lot of praise and attention for the game, which of course, has made me a very happy game dev!
That being said, I have some things I want to explain/discuss before the release of the next chapter. Nothing overly dramatic of course, but things that must be explained nonetheless.
When is Chapter 3 coming out?
Truth be told, I don't know. In terms of both previous chapters, I've had to change the release date at least three times due to my own lack of time or waiting on resources to pour in. As previously explained, I want each release to be professional: I don't want to use placeholder assets if I can avoid it (I'd have to go back and fix them anyway). In that regard, Chapter 3 will be released... When it's ready.
What's gonna happen?
I can't tell you that! But I do have a few details to share.
For the longest time, I've worried that my game only barely qualifies as a "Furry" game. After all, there are only two furry characters present in London and one of them is playing more of a supporting role. For that reason, the next build will introduce at least one new beastman to the table and a certain dragon will also be playing a much larger role. Please look forward to it.
Anything else?
In order to help the game's algorithm, the next update to the game will be purely cosmetic. I haven't decided whether it be adding CGs to the game, adding a theme song, or straight-up changing the GUI. In either case, this will release a good while before the next chapter. I feel now's about the right time to think about stuff like this.
