Welcome to the first of our weekly updates. This was supposed to happen on Friday, but I had to figure out butler the hard way. I also had to retire our first upload, since I didn't understand how naming and versioning works when I put it up. After monkeying around with the upload system for a while, though, monkey likes the results. Monkey also *really* likes hitting LAUNCH in the itch.io app and having the game just... go. Monkey suddenly feels like a real game developer and not a half-cracked designer simian.
Lots of work on sound this week, and a little bit on connecting parts of the UI together so it's easier to understand why a card is ineffective or has a special effect. The main items in the changelog:
I'm excited about the possibilities of the Steam Deck, so adding game controller support just abruptly moved up the priority list. I also need to bite the bullet and write a proper text manager before I try to add a whole lot more content. And there are the usual endless bugs and card adjustments to be dealt with. Next week is going to be a busy week.
