The jam version had some weird bugs, was rushed towards the end, and overall it just worked, but not as I would have liked to. This devlog is to show people what to expect from this post jam update!
Especially the bug fixing, since the timer not working made me feel really bad and it was a dumb mistake haha
With that out of the way, I added some features because I thought they might be interesting
The Settings Menu has currently one single setting:
The timer is now optional, but is set to yes by default. The end screen will show a different text whether the timer is on or not, but it doesn't affect the experience!
Now the player has a crosshair around him, it's more of a cosmetic thing but helps to have an idea on where you're currently shooting. And looks good!
There is now an ammo recharge in one of the rooms. When picked up, it refills the ammo to the max capacity. It's probably only useful against the boss, but it's there in every floor.
The changes specified here are already implemented; now that the jam is over, the downloadable is also updated!
This was I think the very first game I made on my own, so there were bound to be some problems, but overall I had a lot of fun working on this project. I'd like to update it with some things I have in mind, and I'll probably do it in my spare time. I won't say much since I wouldn't like to promise stuff that may not be completed, but I have at least another "level" in mind and some sort of story telling :eyes:
