Black_Space
A downloadable game for Windows

This week was just asset creation and some map concepts. I began with further updating my assets some more and making some new assets such as some crates (small, large and wide versions) As well as the lift that will be used in the cargo hold.

I then began to conceptualize some spaceship interiors with my fellow team members and noticed that we were gonna have this ship look very industrial in nature but also well maintained by the main character.

We ended up deciding on the cockpit being on the side instead of in the front of the ship to match one of our references (Millennium Falcon from Star Wars)

We also listed the rooms we needed to be added to the map once I begin working on the actual map design:

Cockpit, AirLock Entrance Room, Mess Hall, Observation Room, Cargo Hold, Botanics Lab, Server Room and Engine Bay. We were gonna have these as our main rooms to build but we'll have airlocks placed between each room to use as loading screens to swap and load in the next room to keep that high poly design choice we went with.
