Project Settings
A new panel on the right side of the interface now houses Project Settings.
Currently, it can set the height range, toggle smooth shading on the terrain mesh and toggle texture filtering on the mesh.
New brush mode, "Smooth":
This mode linearly interpolates to the average height of the given area (where you paint).
Other changes:
In zoned mode: one can no longer paint outside non-loaded zones.
