Hi there! Thank you for downloading our game!
When we were testing this game on our brand new MacBook Air running Mac OS X (Big Sur), we encountered an issue where we were unable to run the Sorcerer Vs. Swordsman app because we did not have permission to do so. My fiancé is far more adept with Macs than I, so she was kind enough to research and help us solve the problem! Here are the steps she recommends:
We apologize that this is such an issue, but we develop on a Windows machine and have no plans of releasing our games through the AppStore. Hope this works out!
Best Regards,
Brandon from TheIndieDream

From smithmm:
Open Terminal or iTerm and type sudo chmod -R 755
, then drag the .app
into the window, which will bring the full path into Terminal or iTerm. This worked for me, moving the -R
option directly after chmod
.
It will look like this:
sudo chmod -R 755 Path\ to\ app\ file.app
Press return.
