Save games should be compatible! Just copy paste your old save game folder. However, the latest transition to the newest RPGM might have blown up some saves! If you get a message about a resource not being found, please report the crash to I can fix it in next week's patch!
As usual, a lot has happaned over the past month. We have lots of new corruption content! New mental changes! The most important one being the new appearance change where you can remove Aura's braids. The second one doesn't have scenes yet, but you can watch as Alicia gleefully deletes Aura's fun for making video games. As for corruption scenes, we have a total of 8 new corruption scenes. There is also a new common scene, which in some later update will later be followed by by corruption scenes to display Aura's change in reaction to sexual harrassment.
In the Isekai, development has focused on pushing the main content forward. You can finally finish the Impostor Refugees quest, start a follow-up quest, find out more about Desmond and Liliana, and also meet a recurring pair of bandit enemies while exploring a new mini dungeon. I hope I can finish the current main quest soonishly, and then there is only 1 more main quest until we can start the finale of the current story arc. There is also new lewd content for Aura to work as a maid. And also, she now wears a proper maid outfit in her character portrait when doing so.
Gameplay wise, there are 2 new boss fights, poison as been slightly reworked to make it available to the player via a 1-day weapon enhancement item, there is a new skill that can be learned from Julian, and I have introduced a simple passive system to model feedback of mental changes into the isekai. Currently, there is only 1 passive that you get for Aura reading too many fashion magazines. It reduces her willpower by 10 whenever you have to make a check that involves wearing costumes.
Art-wise, you will also notice some changes regarding the mapping. I have begun moving away from the RTP and switching to the FSM tileset. The switch is currently in progress. I am making new maps with the new tileset and have a mapper recreate the older maps with this new tileset. As of now, all city and village type maps have been remapped. Don't be surprised about the weird mix of FSM and RTP maps in the isekai, they will all become FSM maps in the longer run.
Finally, as I mentioned in the opening part of this post, I have upgraded to the latest version of RPGMaker and made use of the new features for improving the organization of my assets. It's possible that I broke stuff, in case I did, please report!
Below is the aggregated changelog over the 0.8.0 prelreleases.
