UpKill
A browser game made in HTML5

Hello internet,

Recently I explored the HTML export options of Gamemaker and was able to complete this by creating a HTML build of UpKill, meaning it can now be played in the browser. There were however some issues with the lighting system I was using and as such, the web build currently doesn't have lighting effects.

What's next? As of the previous updates I added the ability to unlock levels by getting to a certain wave number and planned to add many levels which could be unlocked, as a way of progression. I have since however gotten much more comfortable with Gamemaker over this period of time and I now working on creating the version of UpKill I originally envisioned, a Fast Paced, Wave Based, Zombie, Platform, ROGUELITE. Due to this, updates may slow down as I re-create a new platform engine and the version of UpKill I truly wanted to create; weapon shop, randomly generated levels, many unlockable weapons, player skins, abilities and boss fights.

I have taken all the feedback received so far and have already implemented many of the suggestions into this new 'engine'. I will be posting screenshots here in the devlog and also on my YouTube channel linked below.
