It’s been a year since I started developing games, and the quarter nearly ends before I even notice it. It is an incredible quarter for me, and it is such a unique experience that we spend a lot of time developing multiplayer games remotely.
However, I made two attempts at making a puzzle game this quarter, and they are really educational. I learned a lot about leading players through hints and progress, and I think these are useful experiences that can be applied to many other game genres.
There is a lot to talk about, but I think it feels great that I took Patrick’s class again after a year. It gives me a chance to reflect on what I accomplished after a year of game development. I just want to thank everyone in the class who did so many incredible works that inspired me a lot.
