#Update #Content Patch
Greetings!
Work on SYS Version 1.07 has been completed and Patrons can download this content patch from here:
The new and biggest addition to this update is another new playable character, Mr. Hoe!
As you can see, this character also introduces a new mechanic to the game, the ability to gain special cards when you're at home. As with most other stuff I made sure that this ability is very flexible so any characters you'd add to the game yourself could make use of this function and have any card you desire be added to their inventory, as long as there's still room left that is. In John's case, he gets the special card called "Equality".
If you're on a righteous path, Mr. Hoe here won't be getting in your way but if he does then I'm afraid those stat buffing items won't be doing you any good, so be careful. :(
Next up we have a new event card:
As usual with event cards, this one can be very helpful or detrimental. To be honest, most of the time much isn't probably going to happen if you draw this card, but if someone indeed manages to land on a Minus or Bonus Zentra tile, then things could turn out either very good or very bad.
Just a possible scenario: Let's just assume you draw this card and that all the stars are in one line, you throw the dice and land on a Bonus Zentra tile and manage to throw the dice and get a six - that will be 24 Zentra you're getting, which in default game settings is pretty much a quarter of a Level-Up you've just got there, for basically doing nothing!
Of course on the other hand, if you get a six on a Minus Zentra tile then ... well, I hope you were aiming for a different Victory Type to begin with. XD
The last big addition to the game is a new 4 Player Map, Night Street Line.
I really like this one as I'm a sucker for City Skylines and Nightlife Districts, but more importantly, the layout of this map will make for some very interessting matches as all Player Homes are on the very same lane. Depending on the characters that are playing in this match, this pretty much makes break-ins into people's homes and random brawls unavoidable so better be ready to fight! There's also really many properties to buy and build on, though beware of rather high property prices. Just like the last new map, it also features 2 casinos, so go to town!
By the way, just a quick heads up: There are enough maps in the game now that the Game Setup Screen cannot show them all at once, so I've added some Arrows to the menu so that maps can be browsed. So when a map is missing from the menu, it should be further down the list which now can be scrolled. :)
That's all for this update! For a complete overview of everything this patch does please refer to the changelog down below.
I hope you'll have fun with the game!
Please stay tuned for further updates in the future! ('ᴗ')
