Hello Commander!
Today we bring you a major update for Pixel Commando!
This game started as a Game Jam project, but we’ve been hard at work to bring you a fun, non-stop action experience.
Change log:
- LEVEL TWO is almost complete! There are new areas, a puzzle level and many more surprises!
- We have a NEW UI! We have added new pick-ups in level two that will help you infiltrate the enemy base. We have cleaned up the UI to improve visibility of all your equipment.
- MINES: Watch out, commander. The enemies have laid out mines all over their base. Make sure to avoid them!
- HOUSE INTERIORS: You can now enter the enemy huts and some houses. Watch out as there might be enemies lurking inside.
- MOVING VEHICLES: Enemies are on high alert and will send vehicles filled with baddies that will try to kill you.
- BLOOD: I think this needs no explanation. Comment if you want us to add the possibility to deactivate this feature in the future.
-NEW DEFAULT GUN: The default pistol has been re-worked. We will keep working on this on the next release, since we found a strange behavior making it shake sometimes.
-BOMBS!
Other improvements:
- New effect when picking up health or guns.
- New animations for enemies, watchtowers and bullet hits.
- Increased on screen time for all hints.
- Hit markers where bullets impact.
- Bullets now come from the gun barrel, looking better.
-Boss is easier on Easy and Medium difficulty, +10health on Normal
Other bug fixes:
- Level 1 BOSS collision and rocket orientation fixed.
- Hit collision improvement to avoid instances where the player took double damage.
- Sandbags are now working correctly, stopping bullets with a random chance and a beautiful effect.
- Now you can't push enemies inside forests or strange places anymore.
- Huts now stop bullets.
